ABOUT ME

Growing up, I was definitely a jock. My whole family was made up of athletes and I was no different. I played football and swam until one day, a pretty girl auditioned for a play at my school. I miraculously found the courage to audition for the play. In pursuit of a romantic interest I ended discovering another type of passion for my life, acting.

I believe my background as a jock gave me an advantage above my other theater friends. It gave me deliberate discipline that only a sweaty football coach can give you. I rigorously rehearsed my lines, I rehearsed my music, and the dance choreography for musicals so many times that I could do them in my sleep. I continued doing shows throughout high school and even got the “Best Actor Award”.

After high school, I went to Azusa Pacific University and got a scholarship for the BFA in Acting for the Screen and Stage. I learned a variety of skills through their program. I learned how to emotionally connect with a scene partner, I learned script analysis and script writing, along with dialect work and stage combat. We were taught several acting techniques from working actors and we got the opportunity to hone our skills during their productions. I received several different parts in my 4 years at APU including a lead. While studying at APU, I went to study at The Colburn School in Los Angelas in 2019 to further fortify my skills. But the number 1 thing I learned is that I have confidence in my abilities as an actor and as a person.

I learned how to work with and connect with people. And also that I really love movies. On weekends you can find me explaining in depth Star Wars lore or telling my friends to do their squats.

I currently live in Los Angeles, California and look forward to working in Hollywood.
